Ask Your Senator to Protect Religious Student Organizations
Too often, religious student groups are denied equal access to campuses for simply being authentic in their faith, mission and beliefs. The Equal Campus Access Act of 2025 (S.2859/HR 5505) will provide critical protection for faith-based student organizations of all religious traditions. Introduced in Congress in September 2025, the bill will ensure that such groups will be allowed to meet on campuses nationwide, enabling students to freely discuss, live out and share their religious ideas and values.

More co-sponsors for the bill are needed. It would be helpful to encourage your U.S. Senator to co-sponsor the Equal Campus Access Act of 2025 if you reside in one of the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, New Hampshire and Virginia. In a short paragraph or two, express your support and share a personal story about why protecting religious student groups matters to you. That story can be about your college experience, or that of someone you know. We are seeking bi-partisan support, and it is important that Senators from both parties hear about the importance of this bill.

Religious student groups provide meaningful community and belonging and add to the religious diversity on campuses. Religious groups are best when they are allowed to be authentically religious in support of their beliefs, faith and values. Thank you for your help with this effort.
