Urge Congress to Oppose Burdensome Reporting Requirements for Nonprofit Hospitals
The Florida Hospital Association opposes the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means’ proposal that would impose burdensome requirements on nonprofit hospitals' tax-exempt status and ultimately diminish the public perception of nonprofit hospitals and the critical role they play in their communities. We encourage you to contact your members of Congress to voice concerns with the legislation and highlight the value their hospitals and health systems provide through community benefit programs, charity care, medical services, and other programs.
