Tell Your State Legislators: Invest in Quality Child Care in the State Budget
Right now, members of the Ohio General Assembly are working on the state’s biennial budget. The state budget determines how much funding goes to vital programs that help Ohio’s youngest children, including Ohio's Publicly Funded Child Care program. We need early childhood champions like you to use your voice to urge state legislators to make investment in quality child care a priority in the state budget.

All children deserve the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. But all too often, a child’s race, their family’s income, or the zip code they live in determines how they’ll do in life. That’s why public investment in high-quality programs that support at-risk infants, toddlers, and their families helps lay the foundation to a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Ohio.

Ohio’s youngest children don’t have a voice at the Statehouse, but you do. Please use this form to email your representatives in the Ohio General Assembly asking them to do the right thing for young children, families, and our communities by expanding eligibility for publicly funded child care so that more families have access to high-quality care.
