The time has come to rally our troops once again!!  We are hoping to gather some support for Home Health funding within the legislature.  We also hope this momentum will spill over as we engage further with the Cabinet on reimbursement and other Home Health policy.

KHCA has been advocating with legislators over the last several years for additional funding.  We are seeking their support for a meaningful increase for Home Health Medicaid services.  We are asking for $7.5 million each year of the biennium.  This would mean an increase of 50% for the Home Health program - which has not seen any funding adjustments since 2005.

We are hoping this effort will raise awareness and build momentum towards an increase.
