U.S. House Representative Laurent Boebert (R-Colorado) introduced H.R. 128 which would restrict the federal funds Planned Parenthood receives for abortion (excepting cases of rape or incest or danger to the woman’s life) for one year to redirect $235 million toward community health centers.

Millions of dollars of federal money, many of which are taxpayer dollars, go to Planned Parenthood every year. A lot of this money is poured into expanding abortion access, prioritizing it above caring for women in real ways, such as through cancer screenings or prenatal care. Rep. Boebert’s bill would redirect $235 million to community health care centers that work to provide real health care.

If Planned Parenthood were to lose its funding, it would be just that much more difficult for them to continue opening and operating new abortion mills.

Contact your federal representatives and urge them to support this bill so that abortion can be stopped.
