Resolution to Restore Prayer Room in Capitol
In 2013, when the Capitol was remodeled, the Prayer Room, which had been on the main floor for many years, was turned into a Hearing Room. 

State Representative Brad Halbrook, a member of the The Illinois Legislative Prayer Caucus, has introduced HR 495 to bring it back.

There will undoubtedly be opposition to this effort, but as Romans 8:31 reminds us, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Please urge your state representative to co-sponsor and vote in favor of HR 495.
