SB 2824 Out of District Tuition Waived
If passed into law, SB 2824 would allow a student who has an alleged abuse problem at home and goes to live with relatives or someone outside the school district to be able to continue attending his/her original school  tuition-free.

We are pleased to report that on SB 2824 passed in the Illinois State Senate on April 9th by a vote of 55 to 0.  It is now being considered in the Illinois House. Please encourage your local represtative to vote for this good policy.
