HB 5380 Hides Children's Online Behavior From Parents
Originally, HB 5380 - Gong-Gershowitz (D), required large social media companies to allow parents to use third-party companies to monitor their child's online behavior. It was a good bill until it was amended.

The LGBTQ groups had the sponsor amend it to say that any "information, resources, or support" used by a child regarding reproductive health, sexual orientation, and gender identity must be excluded from reporting, hiding it from the parents.
