HB 3489 - OPPOSE
HB 3489 - Rachel Ventura (D) -senate sponsor: Redefines the “practice of pharmacy” so that a pharmacist can assess and consult with a patient for the purpose of dispensing emergency contraception, otherwise known as the morning after pill, an abortifacient.

The pill prevents the implantation of a new human life after fertilization has taken place. 

It also mandates that our tax dollars pay for the pills through Medicaid.
