A Millionaire Tax Won’t Fix Springfield’s Spending Problem
HJRCA 21 would raise the tax rate on income more than $1 million from 4.95% to 7.95%.

This plan, dubbed the “Millionaire Amendment,” would place a binding constitutional amendment on the November 2026 ballot.

Send a message to your state representative today and urge him/her to oppose the “Millionaire Amendment.” Tell them Illinois doesn’t need higher taxes—we need spending reform and real accountability. Ask them to vote NO and stand for taxpayers.
