HB 1143 (La Shawn Ford D-Chicago) will create the “Compassionate Use and Research of Entheogens Act” for the purpose of legalizing entheogens, or hallucinogenics, which are Schedule 1 Drugs, to allegedly treat certain mental health issues.
However, the bill states that a person does not have to have any mental health problems to engage in psilocybin "services."

Anthropological study has established that entheogens are used for religious, magical, shamanic, or spiritual purposes in many parts of the world.”
Urge your state representative to reject HB 1143.
