Oppose HB 4301 - Expansion of What's Included in Student Records
HB 4301 - Daniel Didech (D): expands what can be included in “school student records” to include written/electronic communications (and attachments) sent to or from a student’s parent/guardian/family member that are maintained by the school and relate to education, health, safety, discipline, or “well-being.”

This is a gross invasion of family privacy, not to mention it broadens what can be considered an “official record.” And do parents even have access to these records?

Urge your state representative to oppose HB 4301.
