HB 4145 - Rick Ryan (D): directs the liberal Illinois State Board of Education to write rules/guidelines for 11th and 12th graders' exit strategy after graduation. It concerns us because schools + outside presenters + state guidelines = the usual risk of “approved messaging” and ideology drift unless guardrails and parental opt-outs are explicit, which they are not. Part of the help they plan to give these students is where to find a sexually transmitted disease testing facility.
