OPPOSE HB 3320 - State Licensing for Firearm Manufacturers
HB 3320 - Kevin Olickal (D-Chicago): This bill is an attempt to drive firearm manufacturers out of Illinois.

It creates a full-blown state licensing regime for firearm manufacturers and explicitly ties “fees” to “public costs” of firearm injuries and deaths. (No mention of how much money firearms save when used against an armed intruder to protect one’s family).

The penalty structure is severe, including up to $1 million per month for operating without a license; retailers are also penalized if they sell products from unlicensed manufacturers.
