Oppose HJRCA 28 - Rigging the Election Map
HJRCA 28 (Chris Welch-D) is an amendment to the Illinois Constitution to redefine how legislative and congressional districts are drawn.

Every 10 years after the census, the party in control redraws the districts due to shifts in population. But in reality, they are drawn to maintain their power. This amendment will make it even easier.

Proponents tout this as fair and representative. It's anything but.

If this amendment is allowed to pass, it will be nearly impossible for a Republican to be elected in Illinois.

Urge your state representative to OPPOSE HJRCA 28. Tell him/her to uphold fair redistricting standards that do not disenfranchise conservative voters in conservative counties and that reflect the political will of the people.
