ATTENTION: Important reminders regarding the upcoming Board of Supervisors hearing
We are proud to see such a strong commitment to supporting the oil and gas industry at the June 26th Board of Supervisors hearing. We look forward to seeing you all there, sporting your “I AM THE OIL INDUSTRY" stickers!
Here are a few things to remember before the big day:
- Arrive early! Please plan to be there at 9 AM. The county administration building has a security checkpoint you will have to go through—think airport security. So please arrive early.
- Please note that there are no “tickets” to this public meeting. It is not a guaranteed seat! There are only 258 seats inside the chambers, but the county will have seating in the foyer where you can see the entire meeting.
- Lead with integrity and respect. Please do not engage with anti-oil activists. Let’s show our professionalism, respect, and devotion to facts inherent in our industry.
- Find a KCE representative (or we will find you!) and get your “I AM THE OIL INDUSTRY” sticker before entering the chambers.
