Tell The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council To Protect The Dolphin
Your help is needed to protect the South Atlantic dolphin.  Just five years removed from the dolphin fishery being prematurely closed due to overfishing by the commercial longline fleet, declines in the stock are becoming evident, especially in Florida.  Later this month, the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (SAFMC) will meet to discuss changes to the dolphin-wahoo management plan.

Tell the SAFMC to ban the use of pelagic longline gear and enact a gear-based allocation option for dolphin which allows for recreational and non-longline commercial gear.
