ALERT: Urge your State Legislators to reject Physician-Assisted Suicide!
Minnesota’s medical practitioners have both a moral and professional obligation to provide life-saving services to patients across the state, so any practice(s) that hasten death rather than save life should never be on the table.

But some members of Minnesota's own State Legislature are shamefully trying to legalize euthanasia, when they should instead be seeking to increase provisions for mental health care and end-of-life palliative care.

NOW is the time to ensure your voice is heard in defense of life and in opposition to State Senate Democrats’ efforts to legalize euthanasia by way of an assisted suicide statute here in Minnesota.

That’s why it’s so important that you contact your State Senator and House Member, and call on them to reject S.F. 1352, which would allow patients deemed terminally ill access to life-ending medicine.

You can contact your State Senator and House Member in one easy step using this simple contact form that LifeSiteNews.com is making available here, on the Voter Voice platform.

With one click, your message is sent directly to your representatives without having to look up any of their contact details.

S.F. 1352, also known as the End-of-Life Option Act, was introduced by Democrat State Senators Chris Eaton and John Marty last week, and formally referred to the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee for initial review and debate just yesterday.

If passed, S.F. 1352 would grant patients who’ve been given a terminally ill prognosis (i.e. projected life expectancy less than six months) by their doctor the ability to request - once orally, and once in writing - a lethal injection.

Should the doctor determine that the patient is of sound mind, and that their decision is free from outside influence, he or she may administer the medication that will ultimately kill the patient.

Physician-assisted suicide laws like S.F. 1352 are already normalizing a culture of death rather than life in the United States and in nations all over the world.

We already find ourselves on a slippery slope in terms of some states’ embrace of euthanasia as it is.

But, if S.F. 1352 were to become law in Minnesota, rest assured that other states will follow down the same path, and America will continue its downward spiral on the issue of life and how our government (and future generations) will measure its value.

Minnesota’s leaders must stand up for life and take action NOW.

Please take a few minutes to contact your State Senator and House Member and request that they oppose S.F. 1352 if and when it comes before them for a vote.

Similar legislation has been rejected in Minnesota before, but that doesn’t mean that will automatically happen again.

Standing strongly against any proposed law that advances the left’s embrace of an American culture of death is an important step forward in replacing it with a culture of life.

Medical practitioners have a responsibility to help and care for the suffering, not assist in their demise. This must be reaffirmed legislatively.

Thank you for helping deliver this message to them.
