Protect the unborn and defend parental rights - Ask your State Legislators to oppose H.B. 1797 and S.B. 2190!
With the federal government under complete leftist control for the first time in a decade, the pro-life movement across our country is under attack like never before.

This is true even at the state level: In Illinois, two identical bills (House Bill 1797 and Senate Bill 2190) were recently introduced by Democrat lawmakers that would repeal the Parental Notice of Abortion Act of 1995.

The bills have been referred to their respective chamber’s corresponding committee (Human Services in the House, Assignments in the Senate), but both committees are Democrat-controlled, so the odds of this dangerous legislation moving forward are high.

That’s where you come in! It is crucial that we contact our State Legislators and encourage them to vote against H.B. 1797 and S.B. 2190 if and when they come before them for a vote.

You can reach your State Legislators in one easy step using this simple contact form that LifeSiteNews.com is making available here, on the Voter Voice platform.

Under current Illinois law, healthcare providers are required to notify the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of an expectant mother under the age of eighteen who chooses to have an abortion at least 48 hours before that abortion is carried out.

H.B. 1797 and S.B. 2190 would repeal this law, removing the requirement completely and opening the door even further to unfettered abortion access in Illinois.

This is clearly just another attempt on behalf of radical leftists in the Illinois State Assembly to eliminate the rights of parents and transfer them to the state, but this one comes with far more harmful repercussions:

Keeping such vital information hidden from a minor’s parents is not only unethical, but entirely negligent towards the physical and psychological health and well-being of young, expectant mothers who find themselves in such a position, and that’s without accounting for the innocent life that would be ended by an abortion.

Democrat Legislators in Illinois wish to make this the law of the land, and, if successful, they could set a deadly precedent for other Democrat-controlled states with parental notification laws to follow their lead.

This must not stand. It is up to us to contact our State Legislators and let them know that this legislation is dangerous to young expectant mothers, their parents, and the unborn.

Please take a few minutes to contact your State Legislators and request that they vote against H.B. 1797 and S.B. 2190 if and when they come before them for approval.

If these bills pass, Illinois will be headed down a path towards more abortion, and further elimination of parental rights in favor of more government intervention in the sacred relationship between mothers and fathers and their children.

We must protect the right of parents to information about their children, the right of young expectant mothers to health and safety, and the right of the unborn to life under Illinois law!

The best way to do so is to ensure that H.B. 1797 and S.B. 2190 are defeated in the Illinois State Assembly.

Thank you for helping deliver this message to them.
