ALERT: We CAN End Abortion in America! -- Contact AG Fitch & urge her to ask SCOTUS to overturn Roe!

This is a paramount moment for the pro-life movement in America.

The Supreme Court of the United States is preparing to hear the most consequential abortion-related case in nearly 30 years.

Justices have granted review to Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization (No. 19-1392 on the SCOTUS docket), a challenge to a 2018 Mississippi law (the Gestational Age Act) that bans elective abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy.

But there may very well be more on the line than just the fate of this legislation alone. In fact, the Supreme Court's eventual ruling will likely come down to determining whether any law at the state level that places restriction(s) on abortion are constitutional -- potentially opening the door to a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade itself.

We cannot stress how important this decision will prove to be for the future of our country, and what it means for returning America to a culture of life after nearly 50 years of legalized murder in abortion clinics across the nation.

This is a momentous occasion, indeed, and a once-in-a-generation opportunity, but we need all hands on deck to ensure a positive ruling by the Supreme Court.

In her capacity as Mississippi's top lawyer, our very own Attorney General, Republican Lynn Fitch, will play an integral role in determining how this case plays out as we draw closer to arguments before the Court.

However, she has yet to formally acknowledge or request that, in order to properly defend the Gestational Age Act, Roe v. Wade (along with 1992's Planned Parenthood v. Casey) be overturned by the Court.

That's why we need Mississippians like you to contact Attorney General Fitch's office, and urge her to ask the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey as part of her effort to see our state's abortion restrictions upheld in Dobbs v. Jackson.

Many legal experts and commentators agree that Dobbs v. Jackson will prove a landmark case regarding the matter of abortion in our country, and represents our best chance to see Roe overturned since it was originally decided upon back in 1973 -- 48 years ago.

In fact, the case's petition plainly states the following:

"Mississippi’s Gestational Age Act brings into sharp focus the conflict between this Court’s suggestion that states cannot prohibit pre-viability abortions, Roe v. Wade…and the Court’s repeated admonition that states have legitimate interests “from the outset of the pregnancy in protecting the health of the mother and the life of the fetus which may become a child."

In other words, the Supreme Court will ultimately be deciding whether state-issued bans on aborting babies before they've reached "viability" (the ability to survive outside the womb) can hold constitutional muster.

Currently, eighteen states have pre-viability abortion bans on their books.

And while the Court's decisions in Roe and Casey held that states could adopt legislation to ban abortion outright once an unborn child is considered "viable," this very concept has been debated in the near half-century since. And now, faced with this question once again, it remains not only possible but even plausible that the Supreme Court could abandon this standard altogether.

That said, we all know that abortion, at any point within a pregnancy, strips an innocent human being of their constitutional right to life, and as we approach the 50-year mark of the Supreme Court doing just that, there couldn't be a better time to reevaluate this deadly decision.

That's why we need Attorney General Fitch, as Mississippi's legal representation in this case, to formally request in her brief that both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey be reversed by the Supreme Court.

The deadline for Attorney General Fitch to submit her brief is July 22nd, so we must act with utmost urgency.

Please contact Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office immediately and urge her to ask the Supreme Court, upon deliberating the coming arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, to uphold Mississippi's Gestational Age Act by following the most logical legal path: Overturning Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, and protecting the constitutional right to life for ALL Americans.

You can reach Attorney General Fitch in one easy step using this simple contact form (see right) that we're making available here on LifeSite's Action Center.

With one click, your message is sent directly to her office without having to look up any contact details.

Thank you!
