As schools continue to kowtow to the desires of the radical left by bringing its extreme social, sexual, and political agendas into the classroom, young children across our country -- and here in Florida -- have become primary targets of activist teachers and liberal school districts.
But House Bill (HB) 1557, which has been approved by the Florida State Legislature, could help put an end to that. You can learn more about this bill by clicking HERE.
Join this campaign to urge Governor Ron DeSantis to sign HB 1557 into law and keep the "woke" LGBT agenda out of young children's classrooms!
Then, SHARE it with your friends and family members!
HB 1557, which won final approval from the Florida Senate on March 8th after also being passed by the House in late February, has officially advanced to the desk of Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is widely expected to sign it into law.
Should he do so, this legislation, also known as the Parental Rights in Education Bill, would prohibit instruction pertaining to sexual orientation and "gender identity"/transgenderism in Kindergarten through 3rd grade classrooms across the state of Florida and also put stronger limits on such discussions for older children, blocking a primary tenet of the radical left's plan to encroach upon schools.
While media talking heads and political opponents, ranging from pro-LGBT groups to increasingly "woke" corporations like Disney, have dubbed HB 1557 the "Don't Say Gay" Bill, the truth is that such sensitive, personal subjects are not the job of schools to cover, but the job of parents alone, who, under the bill, would be allowed to take legal action against school districts that violate its provisions.
It should truly go without saying that any discussion of sex in the classroom, particularly for such young children, is beyond disturbing and worthy of not only opposition, but also suspicion. This common sense bill would ensure this does not happen in Florida schools.
This blatant, disturbing sexualization of America's children MUST STOP, and Florida is in a position to make that happen.
Please take this opportunity to encourage Gov. DeSantis to follow through with his plan to sign HB 1557 into law!
Thank you!
