As a California native, I was horrified to learn that the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, and the California State Assembly have directed their full fire towards the innocent unborn of California this past year.
Newsom just signed legislation to make abortions free in the Golden State by bulldozing out-of-pocket costs for abortion services covered under health insurance plans.
Senate Bill 245, named the Abortion Accessibility Act, will bar health insurance companies in California from charging co-pays, deductibles, or other fees for abortions, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
And, as if he is totally unaware of the diabolical irony and ghoulish inversion, Gov. Newsom has lately been promoting California as an abortion "sanctuary", preparing for the day when Roe vs. Wade is overturned.
Indeed, the Associated Press astonishingly reported that Newsom is the man responsible for setting up the California Future of Abortion Council (CA FAB), which is basically a pro-abortion think-tank, supported by Planned Parenthood and many other leading abortion promoters.
By these two practical examples, Newsom demonstrates that he is not only a promoter of abortion in theory, on the sidelines, but, rather, a promoter of abortion in practice, and, in fact, one of the masterminds encouraging the continued availability of, and access to, abortion, in the state of California.
Newsom's actions in this regard are as public, scandalous, and obstinate as they get. And, they're also demonic.
Something needs to be done. The scandal must end.
The California bishops need to be encouraged to take action and excommunicate Governor Newsom...for his own good and for the good of the Church.
Please take a few minutes to contact the California Bishops' Conference and ask the patrons of the Conference (i.e., the bishops) to excommunicate Gov. Newsom.
