Contact your MP: Reject Trudeau's Liberal government attempts to expand euthanasia in Canada!

UPDATE:

Not only has the federal Senate in Canada not come to the aid of vulnerable people threatened by the passage of Euthanasia Bill C-7, they have actually voted to make matters worse by EXPANDING provision of euthanasia beyond what C-7 had originally intended.

The bill will now go back to Parliament, where the Senate's amendments can be accepted or rejected.

Please contact your MP to request that they vote against Bill C-7 and the Senate's amendments to the bill.

Canadian medical practitioners have both a moral and professional obligation to provide life-saving services to patients across the country, so it goes without saying that assisting in any practice(s) that bring about death rather than life should never be on the table.

But some members of Parliament and the Senate disagree.

NOW is the time to ensure your voice is heard in defense of life and in opposition to the Liberal government's efforts to further expand medical assistance in dying (MAiD).

That’s why it’s so important that you contact your Senator and call on him or her to reject Bill C-7, which would expand MAiD access to individuals who are NOT facing imminent or “reasonably foreseeable” death due to a medical condition, disease, or ailment.

You can contact your Senator in one easy step using this simple contact form that LifeSiteNews.com is making available here, on the Voter Voice platform.

With one click, your message is sent directly to your Senator without having to look up any of their contact details.

Bill C-7, which passed the House of Commons by a vote of 213-106 back on December 10th, would expand existing MAiD/euthanasia laws already on the books by, among other things, “repeal[ing] the provision that requires a person’s natural death be reasonably foreseeable.”

In other words, Bill C-7 would allow medical professionals to assist in bringing about the death of patients even when NOT faced with threat of imminent death due to medically-determined terminal illness.

Bill C-7 is currently up for debate in the Senate, and we must voice our concern to those who will decide its fate as soon as possible.

MAiD laws are already normalizing a culture of death rather than life in Canada and in nations all over the world.

We are already on a slippery slope with regards to euthanasia as it is, but if Bill C-7 becomes law, rest assured that Canada will continue to spiral downward on the issue of life and how our government (and future generations) will measure its value.

That’s why it’s so important for leaders to take action NOW.

Please take a few minutes to contact your Senator and request that they oppose Bill C-7.

Rejecting any potential law that advances the Trudeau Liberals’ embrace of a culture of death in Canada is an important step forward in ultimately replacing it with a culture of life.

Medical practitioners have a responsibility to help and care for the suffering, not assist in their death. This must be affirmed legislatively.

Thank you for helping to deliver this message to them.
