The Congressional Lupus Caucus is circulating a “Dear Colleague” letter in the House of Representatives to build support for lupus programs including: the National Lupus Patient Registry at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Health Education Lupus Program at the Office of Minority Health, and the Lupus Research Program at the Department of Defense.
Collectively, these programs have provided nearly $262 million for lupus research and education so it is absolutely critical that your Representative hears from you! Please contact your U.S. Representative TODAY and urge them to support people with lupus by signing onto the Lupus Caucus letter to the House appropriations committee.
The deadline for Members to sign onto the letter is March 18, so please contact your Representative TODAY. It takes just a few minutes to take action, but your email can make all the difference for these important programs.
