$18 million in grants and services to the creative community
The state budget is now in the hands of a Conference Committee where six legislators meet to agree on a final budget to send to the full Senate and House and then on to Gov. Baker for approval.

Rep. Paul McMurtry (D-Dedham) and Sen. Ed Kennedy (D-Lowell), co-chairs of the Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development Committee, are circulating a letter among colleagues to encourage the Conference Committee to support funding Massachusetts Cultural Council grants and services at $18 million in the final conferenced FY20 budget.

Send a quick email asking your legislators to sign on to the Conference Committee letter.
