WHY MAHA OPPOSES THIS
1. Environmental Risk Without Rollback
Once 64 million modified mosquitoes are released into the environment, there is no practical way to recover or control them. The long-term ecological consequences cannot be fully known before release takes place.
2. Violation of Community Consent
Americans never asked for this. Communities in Florida and California should not be used as testing grounds for large-scale biological experiments without informed public consent.
3. Health Freedom Principle
We are not lab rats. Our communities, beaches, springs, farmland, and natural environment must be protected from uncontrolled biological interventions by tech companies.
4. Precautionary Approach
MAHA prioritizes prevention and caution over experimental interventions. Without proven long-term safety data, releasing modified organisms into the environment contradicts basic health freedom principles.
Make America Healthy Again opposes the release of laboratory-modified mosquitoes into our environment and calls on the EPA to DENY this permit. Americans deserve the right to informed consent about experiments affecting their communities and environment.
