On Wednesday, March 6th, Massachusetts PTA members and PTA members from across the country will be meeting with members of Congress in Washington, DC as part of the National PTA’s annual Legislative Conference. PTA members will be representing the millions of families, students, teachers, administrators and business and community leaders that make up PTA. Throughout the day, PTA members like you, will be sharing personal experiences, explaining realities in Massachusetts and asking for the support of every child. PTA members will be urging Congress to:
- Protect children and youth from gun violence
- Strengthen family-school partnerships and invest in meaningful family engagement
- Promote the digital safety of children and youth online
- Support children impacted by trauma, substance use, and mental health challenges
- Fully fund essential programs supporting children, families, and schools
We are united by our commitment to uplift the family voice throughout policy and to promote the well-being and educational success of all children. Take action today by sending your members of Congress an email supporting the PTA legislative agenda and our requests. Please join us in uplifting critical policies and funding that will strengthen our schools and ensure that every child can reach their potential and thrive. Thank you!
