Tell Governor Baker - It's Time to Safely and Responsibly Re-open
Governor Baker’s executive order shutting down “non-essential” businesses is the most restrictive in the country, according to the Retailer’s Association.

MassFiscal believes every business is essential. Every worker is essential. Every job is essential. They are essential to the business owners who spent their lives building the business. They are essential to the workers and their families that depend on them for their livelihoods. They are essential to the customers who depends on their goods and services. Massachusetts cannot continue to force businesses that are able to safely re-open to stay shut down. To put it simply, saving our economy is saving lives.

It is time our State House leaders show they trust the people of Massachusetts by allowing us to begin to safely re-open our communities. The Governor needs to put his trust into the small businesses that form the backbone of our economy.

The Governor’s phased re-opening plan has been released with continued heavy restrictions on small businesses. Please complete the Call to Action and urge Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito and your lawmakers to allow for businesses and their workers to begin to safely re-open.
