Urge Congress to Protect SNAP from USDA Cuts
Since the start of the second Trump administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has taken drastic steps to curb and cut federal anti-hunger programs.

By allowing SNAP benefits to lapse during the 2025 government shutdown, lowering staff capacity for technical assistance, increasing state administrative complexity, advancing restrictions on SNAP purchases, reducing food supply for schools and emergency feeding systems, delaying necessary guidance, and by taking other actions to destabilize programs across the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), USDA has done irreparable harm to SNAP and states’ ability to carry it out.

Please join MAZON in demanding that Congress use their oversight power to stop USDA from worsening America’s growing hunger crisis.
