Tell Congress Don't Cut Funds for Mentoring

The White House has proposed deep cuts to the Youth Mentoring Grant that supports the healthy development of so many young people throughout the nation.

Mentoring advocates must use their voices to ensure that in FY19 the Youth Mentoring Grant is funded at a minimum of $100 million. The Youth Mentoring Grant, housed at the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is currently funded at $80 million, we are asking Congress to ensure that this program is not further cut so that it continues to support young people.

Join us in calling on Congress to reject these damaging cuts and instead drive investments that will expand quality mentoring and strengthen communities.
