Urge your Members of Congress to Close the Homework Gap
The Emergency Education Connections Act establishes and provides between $4 to $5 billion, for the FCC to provide support for schools and libraries to purchase specified equipment for connectivity gaps during the pandemic via the E-rate program. The E-rate program helps connect students to the Internet by funding the purchase of telecommunications equipment or services (e.g., Wi-Fi hotspots, modems, and routers), while their school buildings are closed or conducting a mix of in-school and remote learning.

As a champion of mentoring and youth, we ask that you send a message to Congress asking them to co-sponsor the Emergency Education Connections Act and include it in the next emergency stimulus bill today.
