Tell your lawmaker to fund charter schools equitably!
MAPSA knows all the great things your charter school is doing for families, yet you provide this education with less money than traditional public schools. However, in the Governor's budget proposal, there is still a funding gap between public charter schools and traditional public schools.
As the 2018-19 State Budget is released, lawmakers will vote on how much charter school students are worth. Now is the time to demand equitable funding for charter school students.
It only takes 60 seconds to send an email to your lawmakers. Please encourage your parents and teachers to email their lawmakers too!
WHAT ARE OUR LAWMAKERS SAYING?
Opponents to equitable funding use powerful and often aggressive messages to denounce charter schools. Click on the images below to hear firsthand how they advocate against equal funding for students.
