Meals on Wheels America President and CEO Ellie Hollander issued a press statement regarding the Administration for Community Living (ACL) Final Rule to Update the Older Americans Act (OAA) Regulations. Last updated in 1988, Meals on Wheels America provided valuable insight and feedback to ACL on the existing regulations and were delighted to see much of our feedback and recommendations incorporated. While there is more work to be done to improve the OAA to meet the needs of older adults and senior nutrition provider network, Meals on Wheels America commends ACL for their leadership and commitment to America’s older adults.
