TAKE ACTION: Stop Minnesota’s New Tax on Professional Services
Minnesota lawmakers are considering expanding the sales tax under the Governor's S.F. No. 5052 to include services such as:

• Accounting and tax preparation
• Legal services and notary fees
• Financial planning
• Payroll and bookkeeping services

This proposal would raise costs for consumers and small businesses.

The Senate excluded these provisions from its tax package, but lawmakers still need to hear from constituents before final negotiations.

Tell your legislators to:
• Oppose expanding the sales tax to professional services
• Protect consumers and small businesses
• Reject new taxes on accounting, legal, and financial services
