Pharmacy Community Awaits Speaker Pelosi Opening the U.S. Capitol to Convene 2022 NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill
11/29/2021 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Capitol Building and Congressional Office Buildings remain closed to the public. This website will be updated with event details once U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi opens these buildings.

Each year, NACDS hosts the annual ground-breaking NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill to bring together hundreds of advocates from across the nation to educate Members of Congress about the importance of pro-patient, pro-pharmacy policy issues. Whether a CEO, CFO, pharmacy operator, pharmacist, pharmacy school Dean, student pharmacist or executive representing front or back end interests, advocates participate in the NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill to promote the community's policy priorities. This exciting event reviews the secrets of influential communication, explains how an “issue of the day” impacts the pharmacy community, and provides the unique opportunity to virtually meet with Members of Congress and their staff to discuss important issues.

Your involvement demonstrates the community is dedicated to advancing pharmacy and quality patient services. The more you participate in this annual event, the more Capitol Hill will understand pharmacy and welcome our positions on important health policy issues. After participating in a legislative briefing on the issues of the day, advocates are paired with others to attend NACDS RxIMPACT-scheduled virtual meetings with Members of Congress and their staff.
