Introduced by Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) and Representative Jill Tokuda (HI-02), this bill allows PAs and NPs to practice at the top of their license by removing outdated federal supervision requirements and aligning them with state scope-of-practice laws. 27 states have granted NPs full practice authority, and 7 states have granted PAs full practice authority, yet NPs and PAs practicing in RHCs in those states still have separate, federal supervision requirements.
