Urge Your Legislators to Fix RHC Telehealth Payment & Billing Disparity
Current Medicare telehealth flexibilities continue to disadvantage RHCs. In February 2026, Congress passed a two-year extension of Medicare telehealth flexibilities, perpetuating the "special payment rule" (G2025) that reimburses telehealth visits at a significantly lower rate while most other Medicare providers continue to receive payment parity for telehealth and in-person services. Please join us in urging Congress to establish full payment parity for RHCs, so that rural, safety-net providers have the resources and incentives needed to invest in telehealth and meet the needs of rural patients.
