Sign Up for Supervisor Directory!2SHB 1724, Section 7 created a new program, called the Licensed Counselor Supervisor Directory (directory), to help behavioral health professionals match with associates who need supervision. This directory will be available on the Department of Health webpage in October of 2023. 1) To be listed on the directory a supervisor must be approved by the Department of Health. This will require the supervisor to submit a form and documentation, including a minimum of fifteen clock hours of training in clinical supervision obtained through: • A supervision course; • Continuing education credits on supervision; • Supervision of supervision; • Any combination of these. 2) Twenty-five hours of experience in supervision of clinical practice; and 3) An application to be listed on the directory. Note: Use of the directory is voluntary. Participation is not necessary to be a supervisor or a supervisee.
