Write Your Local Paper and Ask EPA to Follow the Law on the RFS
EPA is reportedly close to releasing the overdue 2021 and 2022 RFS rules. Unfortunately, the agency is reportedly considering slashing volumes, creating unnecessary uncertainty for the biodiesel industry.

The Biden administration has not made the RFS or the biofuel industry a priority. But as a candidate in 2020, Joe Biden stated clearly that “the Renewable Fuel Standard marks our bond with our farmers and our commitment to a thriving rural economy.” And, the Democratic Party's official campaign platform promised to “grow the nation’s biofuels manufacturing sector, including by strengthening the Renewable Fuel Standard.”

If the Biden administration cuts RFS volumes, it will break campaign promises and undercut the biofuel industry's contribution to the nation's carbon goals. Please use the form to the right to send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Encourage EPA to increase biodiesel volumes for the current year and for the future to reflect the role that cleaner, better fuels are playing today.
