NBCC Endorses Addiction Workforce Loan Repayment Legislation

The NBCC is endorsing new House and Senate bills that would offer student loan repayment to counselors and other addiction treatment professionals who serve for up to six years in direct patient care settings, in areas with either a shortage of mental health professionals or an above-average number of overdose deaths.
