Tell Congress: Fix Medicare's Home Infusion Benefit
As Congress continues deliberations on health care reform in 2025, momentum is growing once again to fix Medicare’s deeply flawed home infusion therapy benefit. Following years of bipartisan advocacy, the Preserving Patient Access to Home Infusion Act (H.R. 2172 / S. 1058) has been reintroduced with key enhancements to address longstanding access challenges and ensure Medicare beneficiaries can receive safe, cost-effective care in their homes.

Thanks to sustained engagement from NHIA and its members, support for this legislation has grown across both chambers of Congress. Now, we need your help to continue the pressure and drive this critical reform forward.

We urge you to join this effort and contact your Members of Congress to encourage them to support this critical legislation. To help with your outreach, we've provided a sample letter below that you can customize with your own experiences and stories. Please edit the sample letter below to reflect your experience, or craft your own message to share a personal story about the importance of home infusion services for America's seniors. Your advocacy is critical in advancing this important cause and ensuring that patients receive the care they deserve.
