The Natural Products Association is proud to support the newly introduced “Dietary Supplements Access Act,” bipartisan legislation led by Senators Kevin Cramer and John Curtis that would allow Americans to use HSA and FSA funds to purchase dietary supplements.
This legislation represents a major step forward in recognizing the important role dietary supplements play in preventive health and wellness.
If enacted, the bill would:
• Allow consumers to use HSA/FSA funds for dietary supplements
• Help families proactively invest in their health and wellness
• Expand access to products that support nutrition, healthy aging, immune function, and overall wellbeing
• Reinforce a prevention-first healthcare model that can help reduce long-term healthcare costs
For too long, federal policy has treated preventive wellness differently from other healthcare expenditures, despite the growing body of evidence supporting proactive health management and consumer-directed care.
Now is the time for our industry to speak with one voice.
We are asking every NPA member company to contact their Senators and Representatives immediately and urge them to support the Dietary Supplements Access Act.
The dietary supplement industry supports millions of Americans who take an active role in managing their health every day. Congress needs to hear directly from the businesses, retailers, practitioners, and manufacturers who understand the real-world importance of these products.
Grassroots engagement remains one of the most effective tools we have in advancing smart public policy. Every message matters.
Thank you for your continued advocacy and support.
