Expanding HSA Choice
Phase 3 of the economic stimulus relief package included expanding HSA eligibility for certain over-the-counter medical products such as feminine hygiene products.

But the expansion does not go far enough.

95% of adults have inadequate Vitamin D intake, they are most susceptible to heart disease, diabetes, immune system disorders, bone fractures and other ailments that may lead to out of pocket medical expenses that they simply can not afford. And nearly one-third of the American population is at risk for at least one vitamin deficiency or anemia.

Malnutrition is a silent but costly aliment on our healthcare system especially at a time when Americans are looking for ways to support their immune health. So when medical professionals are recommending Americans support their health with essential nutrients such as Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D why hasn’t Washington expanded HSA eligibility to nutritional supplements?

Tell Washington it is time to expand HSA eligibility for nutritional supplements that support your healthy lifestyle.

Thank you and stay safe,
