COVID Relief Must Include HSA Expansion
During a global health crisis, Americans need expanded options to maintain their health which is why Congress must allow Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to cover nutritional supplements like Vitamin-D, Vitamin-C, and Zinc.
95% of adults have inadequate Vitamin D intake, which may lead to out of pocket medical expenses that they simply can not afford. And nearly one-third of the American population is at risk for at least one vitamin deficiency or anemia.

So when medical professionals are recommending Americans support their health with essential nutrients such as Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D why hasn’t Washington expanded HSA eligibility to nutritional supplements? Nutritional supplements play a vital role in the lives of the 3 in every four Americans that take at least one nutritional supplement. It is time for those who chose to use these products as apart of their healthy lifestyles to be able to use their HSAs to purchase these products.
Tell Washington it is time to expand HSA eligibility for nutritional supplements that support your healthy lifestyle.
