California Supplement Ban
Over the last 14 months, the science of nutrition has become a prominent figure in our everyday lives. It seems as if every day we are hearing about the latest study that shows a linkage between vitamin deficiency and health outcomes. But it’s not just Dr. Fauci that has supported the role of dietary supplements. Just last week, Congress recognized the significance vitamins play in our everyday lives.

But for some reason, California lawmakers want to restrict access to supplements. Their most recent attack on supplements is AB 1341.

If passed, this bill would restrict access to dietary supplements at your local health food store and establish stiffer fines for selling nutritional supplements than alcohol and tobacco. This is not the first time we have seen this type of legislation despite the fact supplements are made from natural ingredients that are commonly found in foods.

California’s natural product retailers can’t afford to be punished by draconian policies that undermine responsible retailers and consumers. This is why it’s imperative that you let your representatives in Sacramento know you oppose this legislation and urge them to do the same.

Consumers want access to products that will support their healthy lifestyles, especially during COVID-19.

Don’t let AB 1341 become law, tell Sacramento to oppose this dangerous legislation today.
