On Friday, March 7, the National Fire Academy (NFA) was closed as part of the Administration’s effort to evaluate its programs’ efficiency and alignment with their priorities. The NFA is closed indefinitely, and all in-person training is canceled.
Using the link below, please contact your Representative and Senators to urge them to ask the President re-open the NFA. We need to explain to Congress that the NFA is vital to the U.S. Fire Service and offers unique specialized training and in-person state-level courses that are not duplicative in any way.
