Don't Leave Nevada Stuck in the Past
Nevada’s education system is funded heavily by sales tax dollars. Currently, sales tax is applied to physical products but not the sales of comparable digital products. For example, you would pay sales tax if you purchased a book at a store, but if you purchased an e-book on kindle, it would not be taxed.

Nevada schools need funding and that requires modern, stable revenue sources.  When was the last time you bought a CD or DVD? Every time you buy songs or videos online, those are tax dollars missing from our schools.  SB 346 would bring parity to sales tax and ensure the tax base doesn't continue to erode as we buy more and more digital products.

Ask your elected officials to support SB 346.
