2018 marks 50th anniversary of Fair Housing Act
As 2018 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, the National Association of REALTORS® is encouraging all members of the REALTOR® family to join in the commemoration of this special Anniversary.
NAR's commemoration will focus on three key elements of Fair Housing:
  • Acknowledging the organization's past role in the fight for fair housing;®
  • Understanding how we as a nation are constantly improving our commitment to fair housing; and
  • Embracing REALTORS®' role at the forefront of advancing fair housing, leading efforts to address community fair housing issues.
REALTORS® throughout Nevada and across the country are continually striving to advance fair housing efforts and a variety of fair housing issues.  Our REALTORS® are committed to helping their clients achieve the lifelong dream of home ownership and advancing private property rights for all.  In turn, the livelihood and success of a REALTOR® depends on a thriving market that embraces equal opportunity.
