Many of our Nevada REALTORS® members are already aware of the significant changes to landlord/tenant law as of July 1, 2019. The way landlords and property managers in Nevada deal with evicting a tenant will be changed in a big way.

SB151 also has an impact on investors and how they do business in Nevada, or if they even want to continue to do so. We will touch on some of these changes, what we know and what we don't know. When mortgage rates went up from the 3%'s to nearly 5% in the second half of 2018, builders felt a pinch from lower sales. Now that mortgage rates have come back down again, many home shoppers are feeling like they now have a second chance to buy a home and lock in a rate at generational lows.

We took a closer look at vacation home destinations across the country to find which cities and towns have the most vacation homes. We also analyzed the overall percent of vacation homes in every state.
