Vote and Return your Ballots Today!

A Note from 2020 NVR President Chris Bishop
To all Nevada REALTORS®:

This is an important reminder to be sure to cast your vote on or before Tuesday, June 9. The deadline for Nevada's primary election is June 9, 2020. We are encouraging all NVR members to turn in their ballots before the deadline. Ballots must be postmarked by June 9 to be counted.

Your vote is important, and voting in this election is critical for REALTORS®. There is no denying, the Silver State's economy and tax base have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. There will be a budget shortfall during the 2021 legislative session, if not before. As legislators navigate these issues, protection of your industry, protection of homeownership, and protection of your profession are more important than ever. A strong voter turn out by Nevada REALTORS means a stronger voice during the Legislative Session. So, please vote and turn in your ballots by June 9th.

It's easy! Return by mail or see the attached links for more tools in returning your ballots. See the attached links for more tools in returning your ballots.

REALTOR Magazine: Relevant Ways to Reconnect With Your Sphere

Get back to basics with humanized approach in past-client outreach

Do you remember when you were first licensed and went through that grueling exercise of writing down the names and contact information of everyone you knew so that you could announce you're in real estate? Now, as a broker managing agents, you're likely asking your new recruits to do the same. But I'm guessing it's been a while since you checked in on your own list or updated it. Well, now's the time to dust off your address book, boot up the client database, and take things back to the basics as we navigate this COVID-19 era.

The people in your network already know you're in real estate; instead, it's time to reach out and show them you care. It's easy for your message to get lost in the sea of emails and social media posts that are all saying the same thing: "We're in this together." Instead, be original and model some ingenuity for your agents by serving your clients' distinctive needs. Click here to read the full story.
